Last two cards from the swap!

I have been posting cards from a swap I did last week these are the last two cards!

First card up Euphemia's card I love the way she painted her roses and the vellum adds a nice touch!

Finally Kathie's card. The triple back ground stamp and the use of complementary colors add real punch and impact to this card!

Thanks to all who participated and To Mary Ann for setting this up! Leave it to teachers to help encourage each other! I am so proud to be part of such a wonderful group of women at the school I work at. Thanks for looking Virginia!

Next two cards from the Swap!

I am posting cards from my card swap with teachers this week. I have been so impressed with their work and feel inspired by their creativity! So enjoy!

The first card Belongs to Jill She really went all out with here sentiments and she even used a rubber stamp to emboss on velvet! I love the little pouch to hold the embossed tag! Way to go Jill

The next card is from Sheryl and the thing that stands out is her ability to shade images. I also love the color combination too.

Tomorrow a few more!

Card Swap

One of the great ways to get inspiration is to have a card swap with a group of artists. It gives you a fresh take on a stamp set or color scheme. I recently entered a card swap with some of the teachers at school that I work with. I was amazed and inspired by them and feel lucky to work with such a wonderful group of card artist and teachers. So I thought I would share with you some of their work this week.

First up is a card by the swap hostess Mary Ann. She has hosted several swaps and I really enjoy being part of them. I love the way she used white craft ink to create a look of bleach on the background of this card. She tied it all together with the layers of paper and organdy ribbon that really showcase the sentiment.

Next up is Paula's card. I love her color combination Pink and Black. The rivets really create a great focal point and create interest. Ribbon really sets off the black and the crosshatch background stamp creates texture!

It is so nice to get inspiration from others. Tomorrow two other artists. Thanks for looking! Virginia
