Post-it-note Holder

I saw this Post it note holder at Angie Judas's Blog and I decided to try it out. It was so easy and quick to do.
So here are the instructions
Stamps Doodle this, little pieces, So many Scallops
Ink Rose Red
Paper River rock, Rose red, Whisper white
Accessories post it note(a third of a note pad) Crop-a-dille, Stamping Dimensional, key ring, Ribbon
Cut a piece of card stock 1/4 inch larger than the post it note holder and twice the length plus a 1/2 inch. So for a 3x 3 inch note pad you would cut a piece of river rock 3 1/4 X 6 1/2. score at 3 3/8 and 3 5/8. stamp images and assemble. To add key ring use your crop a dile to punch a hole through all layers it is amazing how it punches all through the layers. Insert key ring, tie off ribbon . Scrapbook Page

Hello I have a scrap booking group that meets monthly. Some times when you are scrap booking you want to showcase several images. This page is designed to do that, by organizing the images in a serial fashion it allows you to share more than one or two images with out the page becoming overwhelming! Plus you have a nice mat to surround each image. The rose red page is a little busy but if you know me one decoration is never enough!
There are two techniques that I want to tell you about. First one is spot lighting. This technique show cases an area on a stamp. I used Tres Chic background stamp and river rock paper and ink and always artichoke stampin write marker. You start by inking Tres Chic stamp with river rock ink. Then using an always artichoke stampin write marker and the brush tip color in the word or area you would like to highlight. Huff when you are done and stamp on river rock paper. Because you have used coordinating ink with the paper the always artichoke words pop!
The second Technique I want to share is not really a technique but a great way to use scraps of stamped images you have laying around to decorate these two pages. I used bits and scraps of old stamping mistakes I have.
In my Studio I always keep three boxes for scraps; one for scarp card stock, one for scrap designer series paper, and lastly a box of scrap stamping mistakes. So when I am looking for an accent piece it is great fun to pull out the box of scraps. This can be a goldmine of great stuff when decorating your scrap book pages just a little touch here and there!

I have been hankering over this set I love to color the design and this set is perfect for it.

Stamps-Morning soft, Print Pattern, Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Ink- Elegant eggplant, mellow moss, perfect plum, Black Stazon, So Saffron

Paper - Lovely lilac, Perfect Plum very vanilla

Accessories- Moss Gingham Ribbon, Edge rougher, Blender pens

Cut paper and begin by stamping With stazon on very vanilla card stock. Using a blender pens and your choice of colors color in flowers concentrating your deepest colors in the centers and outside edges. I use so saffron to create a background wash and lovely lilac to stamp with itty bitty backgrounds. stamp print pattern on to larger cardstock and assemble card. Don't for get the trick to saving ribbon. cut a section of ribbon only slightly larger than the surface you want to cover. cut a smaller piece and tie it off on it self, but before tightening it slip larger ribbon in and tighten. wrap around card and trim if needed. thanks for looking.
