A new way to look at a stamp set

I saw this card at convention and I am sorry to say I can't remember who I traded with but it was so cute I decided to create my own take on this card. I love the fact that it is from the pick a petal set which most would use it to make flowers! That is thinking out of the box!

Supplies
Paper - River Rock, Whisper White, Blue Bayou Designer Series Paper
Ink - River rock, Soft Sky, Basic Black, Blue Bayou
Stamps - Pick a Petal, Sincere Salutations.
Accessories - Key punch

Instructions
  1. Stamp the the nose with one of the petals in River rock ink
  2. Stamp the small circle in soft Sky ink on either side of the nose
  3. Stamp the circles on top of the eyes in Basic Black ink.
  4. To make the eyeballs I used my crop-a-dille to punch a small rubber circle. I love that tool!
  5. Using that small circle adhere it to one of the sides of a block and stamp in basic black the eyes.
  6. To make the mouth take a scrap piece of paper and place below the nose so you can stamp just the top part of the mouth.
  7. Adhere a piece of designer series paper to a whisper white card stock attach the river rock and the face to the card stock.
  8. Stamp sentiment and Punch using key tag punch and adhere to card.

Thanks For looking, Virginia

Hi, I used this set to make a snowman, stamped the nose petal in orange, pointed side down on face, like a carrot, black eyes and just the bottom of the smile petal inked for the smile, then used versamark on the whole thing and embossed with glitter powder, adorable, with an added bow on bottom. I love stamping outside the box. I did a class making Christmas cards, but not using any Christmas sets, my ladies loved it.
