Buid a bear mittens

Aren't these just the cutest! They were so easy to make with my build a bear die

I wipped up these mitten in 10 minutes one of the easiest projects ever! If you come to my build a bear workshop you can make one too!
Isn't Cloe so cute she was soooo excited to be my hand model!

My workshop will be this Saturday
Saturday October 24
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
4168 Bussey rd, Syracuse NY

Today I’m sharing with you a class project that I will be offering next Saturday to kick off the new The Build-A-Bear Dies & Stamps Sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog which is only offered through Stampin Up! When making the tin I was thinking you could Build-A-Bear (get it). You can take the tin with you on the go in the car, have it at home or even give it as a really cute birthday gift.

In this class you will make a cute little bear, with at least 3 outfits, several accessories, as well as a costume for your personalized Build A Bear! Your little one can have hours of fun dressing and accessorizing their own build a bear. Because all the parts are magnetized they will stay neat as can be in the tin that holds the project. It makes a great gift or toy for the little one in your life. You can personalize the front of the tin with your choice of name as well as make the toy for a boy or a girl. Class cost is $25.00 ($20.00 for stamp ten members)includes all material described above and a coupon for $5.00 for any purchases made on the day of the class.

A Witch for My Stamp Ten Classes!

A few weeks ago I showed you a card made by my friend Maria, it was a witch similar to this one. Well everyone liked her so much we made one this month at the stamp ten classes in my studio. My version was a card and started with a top note card front. You can create a card by folding the card stock in half and placing folded edge slightly below the cutting edge of the die. Run it through the big shot and you you have a top note shaped card!

Supplies

Paper- Whisper white, Basic black, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Ink- Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Accessories-Stamping dimensionals, Daubers, top note die, Small oval, 1/4, 1, 1/1/4, circle punches, filigree and fire brads, White siglo pen, stamping journaler

  1. Cut 2 Pumpkin Pie Top note sections as well as one Old olive, and Basic Black
  2. Cut one Pumpkin Pie length wise, cut the other horizontally for the bangs,
  3. Cut out triangles to create hair then using a dauber color all the edges of the Pumpkin pie sections with the same color ink.
  4. Using your punches cut a 1 1/4,and 1/4 circle as well as a oval from the Old Olive top section of the top note cutout.
  5. Cut the larger Old Olive circle in half and using a dauber color the edges of all Old Olive pieces.
  6. Cut the Basic back top note length wise and round the squared edges.
  7. Cut a triangle out of scrap Basic Black
  8. Assemble the hat and insert filigree and fire brad for a decorative look
  9. Assemble all facial features and using dimensional secure to face. I find it best to put it all together with the backing on the dimensional so I can get an idea of the best layout glue it all together and add a sentiment to the inside! enjoy
