Frame-a-thon Continues

Next frame up belongs to Ruth Ann Shute. She chose the new Go west Designer Series paper. She also used some simply scraping flowers to add a touch of apricot to her color scheme. I love the three dimensional quality she added to her frame. I have a box of old flowers from hats and she use 3 flowers in her water color to add depth. leave it to a fine arts person to think out of the box.

A week of frames!

Well today was my first Frame workshop! We had so much fun and I was so impressed with all the frames made by friends. We were a group of mostly teachers and staff I work with. It will take more than a week to share them all with you. The first up is Jill Middleton. She teaches English at Tully and she is already a theorem painter, so she took to the water color quickly. Her color choices are very strong and I love how she hand painted the flowers on the frame with Stampinup's new pretties kit!

Stamps - Heartfelt and, garden silhouettes
Inks - Always Artichoke, Purely pomegranate
Paper - Baroque
Accessories - Pretties kit flower and pearl, Purely Pomegranate ribbon

Technique Classes!

I have just started a group of technique classes. The group meets once a month in Marcellus. it is a lively group of women that are great fun. We do 5 different techniques a month and each group member gets a book to put their samples in. This class is a great way to have a treasure trove of techniques in a book format for easy reference at a later date. The class includes card stock with printed instructions for easy reference. The cost is $25.00 for the first class and $10.00 each class afterwards. I supply all the materials. The sample to the left is a sample of a reinker technique I learned from a fellow stamper I call it rainbow reinker! If you think you are interested or would like to join a group send me an e-mail. vkillmore@tully.k12.ny.us Thanks for looking Virginia
