One more card

On am on vacation and with blogspot I can choose the date of posting so while I am at the beach please enjoy this card! My stamp ten groups made this card this month. and some made the scrapbook page shown here. It is so nice to be able to teach classes that show how both scrapbooking and card making ideas can be used!
Supplies
Paper- Kraft, So Saffron, Chocolate chip, Bella birds DSP
Ink - So Saffron Chocolate chip
Stamps - Flight of the Butterfly
Accessories - Stampin Dimensionals, Snips, Punches 1 inch and scallop

Just a side note Elaine asked how these flowers were done, very easily! Punch flowers using scallop punch. Using a dauber in the same color as your paper sponge edges of flower. Snip to create petals using your scissors try and snip at each valley of the flower and then I slightly turned each petal in the same direction to get some lift. Last step is to punch a 1"circle from a coordinating color and using a dimensional pop on to create center. See Easy Peasy!

My inspiration

Well this is the second week of my design team duties and the first week I have been in charge of a challenge over at late night stampers at Yahoo. I lve the group and love to see what those taented ladies are up too. I wanted to get off to a good start on y designs forthis week but with vacation, my hubbies unexpected surgery, a wedding, and a family get together I haven't had the time. I did get to one new card that I am proud of. I was so inspired by Jan's work that I showed you yesterday I decided the card had to be on a carousel note. Luckily my design team co member Hedi Michael came up with the great idea. We decided to do all things flower related. Such an easy one for me as I love flowers! So here is my card. Thanks for looking Virginia.

I have a friend!

Oh my God I love my job teaching stamping! I have met so many talented stampers who show me sooooo many great Ideas. But I have to share this one with you. My neighbor Kim tells me her Mom's work is amazing and intimidating( in a good way). I have been teaching both of them and have never seen her Mom's work. Well last month at our stamp ten group her Mom Jan brought her work. I about peed my pants and now you will see why! I had to go right out and purchase the carousel notes. I love the way she used our new circle cutter to create a crescent shape slightly off center. Not all the supplies are Stamin' up but I had to share with you what a talent and patience does. I will show you tomorrow what I came up with but no where near as nice as these! Thanks for the inspiration Jan! Thanks for looking Virginia

I am so excited I have been selected for a design Team! I opened an E-mail last week from Gretchen Barron and I was selected for the Late Night Stampers design team! Yeah. I have been wanting to try my hand at regular Stamping challenges so this is my opportunity.

Late Night Stampers is a wonderful group of stamping folks who all share the passion I have for creating art through rubber stamping.
