Your Opinion Please!
Well I have been knee deep in wedding invites! My best friend's daughter is getting married this April at the beach so we have been designing like crazy. I have this problem when I am working on something I think it is great! Six month's later I look at something I made and wonder what was I thinking? So I am asking for input or as I ask my students when we are having a critique what would you do differently?

I really like this and I don't say things just to be nice! This is a beach wedding, so you want something very pretty, but not super formal and this fits the bill. I love the shell and the saying and the linen thread tying it all together. I understand why you did the blue swirl underneath the vellum -- it looks like water, but I'm not 100% convinced. It might be too busy underneath the printed words, but I can't decide! Why don't you put a plain piece of blue or (is it blush for the cover) underneath the vellum and see what you think? Lucky bride!
I like the one with the shell best. It ties everything together about the beach, the shells, the twine, the simplicity. I do like the vellum one, but I agree with Joan....just a tad too busy with the swirls underneath.
I love the beach and all things beachy and I think it's beautiful!! Fabulous creation!!
Barbara Rosekrans- I really like your invitation, and you can tell that you gave alot of thought into your idea. I'm really new at this stamping thing, and making cards. Do you have any ideas on a invitation for a ship wedding? My son is getting married in Oct a board a ship? I would like to help out on the wedding plans by showing them some wedding invitations that I could make for them
