An older card

Ok I spent the weekend in New York City visiting my sons! I had so much fun and spent way tooo much money!
So today’s post is an older card. Laura does this one look familiar!
As I look at my card I see things I would do differently but I love this process. The technique would be great with lots of different stamp sets!
The concept is based on an art idea. Three canvas put together to create a painting called a triptych. I suspect the first artist who created a triptych was probably influenced by Japanese screens. Ok I can't help this I teach art!
What I love about this technique is that it is done with address labels! That’s right address labels.

The process is simple stamp tree design from Lovely as a tree with “Timber Brown Stazon” (that’s the first thing I would do differently). Make sure stamping is done on three address labels with backing still on. Then using the Watercolor Crayons color tree and backgrounds. When dry peel back half way all three labels.
Attach to Always Artichoke Card stock that is 3 ½ X 3 ¼. Do this by peeling back the labels rest of the way. Then attach to piece of 3 ¾ X 3 ½ of Mellow Moss Card stock. Stamp oak leaves in Basic brown ink on a piece of 4 ¼ X 5 ½ Mellow Moss card stock. Assemble layers.
