Faux Cloisonné

Stamps Doodle This, Doodle that, Autumn Leaf Prints Canvas, Fine Lace

Accessories Stampin-A-Ma-Jig, Two way glue pen, gold embossing powder, heat gun, powder pals

Paper Night of Navy, Not quite Navy, Old Olive

Ink Vintage violet, Versa mark

This card was inspired by a technique I saw on Splitcoaststampers! I started with a piece of Old Olive and cut it to 4 ¼ X 5 ½ I cut another piece of card stock in Not quite Navy to 4 X 5 ¼ , then stamped the card with Vintage violet ink and Fine Lace background stamp. I then stamped an Old Olive piece of card stock using vintage violet and the Canvas background stamp. Using Versa mark ink stamp the vines from Doodle This and emboss in gold. I used my Stampin-A-Ma-Jig to aligned the vines from doodle this on a 3X 3 piece of Night of Navy card stock. This is a great tutorial I found on Splitcoaststampers on how to use the Stampin -A- Ma- Jig. Cut and adhere to night of navy a 3 ¼ X 3 ¼ piece of Old Olive card stock.

Cloisonné Part
Find some pictures in magazines to use for the cloisonné. I usually look for images that have an overall similar color but still have some texture. Using Versa mark ink stamp large flower from Doodle that and small flower from Doodle This. Then using gold embossing powder sprinkle over images and shake off excess into powder pals bin. Then using heat gun heat till the embossing takes. Cut out and adhere to vines. And put card together.
