Sorry I have not posted lately between school( I teach art) and grand jury duty I have been running as fast as I can. I couldn't wait for the weekend so I could play in my studio! Thanks for looking
I love this set I constantly find new ways to use it. This card started by using my embossing buddy on whisper white card stock, to prepare the surface to better accept embossing powder. I then stamped with versamark and then used embossing powder and heated it to create a resist for the trees. I created a mask by punching with my 1 1/4 circle punch on the sticky edge of of a post it note. I placed it where I wanted the moon to be behind the trees. I started by using a brayer with soft sky and covered the card stock all over. Then with my stipple brush I pounced with Blue Bayou ink all over the card stock creating the darkest area from the center out. Then I used Night of navy to bring out the center set of trees. Lastly I removed the mask and lightly went over trees that are covering the moon with soft sky. I mounted the card on a piece of Blue Bayou card stock. Last step is to tie a white piece of ribbon and now you are done! Hope you enjoy Virginia
