Scrapbook page

These are the two choices for this month's scrap booking pages. We spent the afternoon working on them and we had a wonderful time.
Supplies
Paper-Designer series paper blue bayou/ cerise, Whisper white/ very vanilla. Scraps of Blue Bayou/Real red
Ink - Blue Bayou/ Real red
Stamps - Punch pals/peaceful wishes
Accessories - Punches scallops, 1 3/8, 3/4, glitter glue

Project starts with a sheet of designer series paper in either color. I figured out today if you take a sheet of 11X 8.5 sheet of a white paper and center it towards the top of a 12x12 sheet of paper, you have a wonderful surface to scrapbook on. It is ideally suited and it centers with a half inch on either side. I took a second sheet of white and ripped it in half to create the appearance of snow and in addition it makes a great area for journaling. Before adhering everything I take scraps of coordinating designer series paper and create trees by cutting the paper in assorted triangles. Adhere everything to the back ground paper. Add ribbon around snow banks and stack medallion on top.

Medallion is made by using the the tis the season stamp from punch pals set. Stamp once on coordinating paper and a second time on white paper. then stamp snowflake on white paper also. Using appropriate punch, cut out stamped images. The scallop punch is used to cut the larger snowflake on coordinating paper. Use the 1 3/8 punch punch to cut the middle circle out of the white paper and tis the season stamped area. Lastly punch the smallest circle with the 3/4 inch circle punch. Layer the circles and glue the smallest circle with a stamping dimensional. Lastly decorate snow banks, medallion center, and tops of trees with glitter glue

It never ceases to amaze me how when we get together as a group we all elaborate on the original idea. Sheryl to day came up with an innovative way to create the snow on the red back ground she dotted the surface with dots of glitter glue! it was so wonderful.
