Scrapbooking Page
Last week I had fun with my scrap booking group in Tully. This is the page we made. We used two sets and three color inks.
Supplies
Paper Whisper white, Groovy Guava and Certainly Celery designer series paper
Ink Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi
Stamps Time well spent hostess set, Doodle This
Accessories Stamping dimensional, Groovy Guava Ribbon
Instructions
Start by cutting a 12 X 12 piece of Groovy Guava designer series paper at 3 inches and flip so you get two different patterns. Tape together both sheets using double sided tape in the front. Take a scrap piece of whisper white and stamp largest flower and butter fly using any of the 3 color inks. Color using Blender pens and inks, cut out and place on a horizontal sheet of 8 1/2 X 11 Whisper White card stock. Using placement as a reference, stamp other images images on card stock and also color in using the blender pen and inks. Adhere to the upper part of Groovy Guava paper. Cut a 2 inch strip of whisper white for journaling adhere to the bottom. Cut a 1 inch strip of Certainly celery Designer series paper and snip to mimic grass and adhere to page. last step is the bow. I have discovered a great way to save ribbon some one showed me this trick and I love it. Start by cutting a slightly larger piece of ribbon than the scarp book page. Also cut a smaller piece to create the tie. Start by taking the smaller piece and almost tying the bow before tightening, slip larger ribbon is the center and tie off to the spot you would like the tie to be. Adhere to the page. Thanks for looking! Virginia
Oops I almost forgot adhere flower and butterfly using stamping dimensionals to add some interest to page
