Oh WOW!!! This is STUNNING! I just LOVE the white on red. This will be a wonderful Christmas Card. TFS.
Hi Virginia, love this card! I'm going to have to invest in some white embossing powder!
You asked about changing your background - here's some instructions I actually wrote up for someone else on SCS. I apologize if they are too detailed but a lot of people have problems loading up the background so I wrote out really detailed instructions :)
Heather
This is what I did (I use blogspot):
1. Go to your customize page.
2. Click on "Pick New Template" and choose Minima
3. Click on Page Elements
4. Click on "Add a Gadget" and choose the HTML/Javascript
5. A new window should open up called "Configure HTML/Javascript"
6. Go back to the site where you are getting the background from and highlight the HTML script they have given you.
7. Copy and Paste it into the blank box on the screen "Configure HTML/Javascript"
I think that's it - I hope that helps! Good luck!
**and here's where I actually got the background from:
I'm sure there are lots of places to get the backgrounds from but I went to http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/
You have to register and sign in (it's free). And then go to the left hand side and select free backgrounds. There will be a whole selection of types of backgrounds (on the right) and you select the one you want. Within each set there are about 20 different backgrounds. Once you find the one you want then click on the background and it will bring up a large image. Scroll down - you will see the instructions for putting it into blogger - pretty much what I posted earlier. And then below that there's a box with a bunch of html. That's what you highlight and copy and paste into your own blog.
Very pretty card! I love the white embossing on the red... it really pops.
