A color challenge
Wow, hope you enjoyed the Blog Tour over the weekend. Wasn't it Great? Over 60 websites to visit with all those great ideas. I was really inspired hope you were too! A HUGE THANKS to the folks who organized and all their helpers, Great JOB LADIES.
This week the challenge at Late night stampers is a color challenge. The colors are Chocolate chip, Kraft, Ruby Red, Old olive. I was not to sure about the colors but after working with them I was happy with a few of my cards. This week will be a short week for posting for me as I have my annual art show for my students they are SO excited! Here is my first card you may remember this card from last November but it really fits this weeks challenge so I thought I would include it. This card uses a technique called thumping. it gives the trees a multi colored look. A very easy technique. Start by inking the stamp with a light color. Then using a stampin write marker you take the lightest color first and hold the marker between your finger and thumb and thump the marker back and forth all over the tree limb area. Continue the process with all the markers till you are happy huff and stamp! Thanks for stopping by Virginia
Ink- Chocolate Chip, bashful Blue ink pad, and Ruby Red, Old Olive More Mustard, stampin write markers.
Stamps-Lovely as a Tree, Sanded
Accessories-Hemp twine
