In an effort to save paper with a few changes to some of the measurements. I got the idea from
from 321 stamp's blog Theses are her instructions I am sharing with you. Here is what you will change;
- Start with a 4 1/4" card stock square for the box
- Score 7/8" from each of the 4 edges (that's INSTEAD OF the 1" in Diana's version)
- Also adjust the size of the printed Designer Series Paper that's wrapped around the box to make the bag. Mine is 6" by 10 1/2".
- Lastly I adjusted the size of the strip that's around the bottom of the box/bag. Mine started as 1 1/4" by 10 1/2" and then one long edge was punched with SU's Scallop Border Punch (item # 112091) which then makes it a little narrower.
Supplies
Supplies
Stamps- Medallion, Oval all
Paper Whisper White Card stock, Not Quite Navy Card stock and Old Olive Card stock and DSP
Ink Not Quite Navy Craft ink
Accessories Crop a dile, tab, Oval scallop, medium oval, and scallop edge punches, Stampin dimensionals, Scallop oval movers and shapers die, Old Olive ribbon, Sticky strip
Tips
Lacy effect at the bottom is done with crop a dile after punching.
Use craft ink as it is a pigment die and will cover DSp better than classic Ink
The movers and shapers dies are wonderful because they coordinate with our punches so you can get wonderful layering! Best new thing I love!
Thanks for looking Virginia I will be posting sporadically next week because I will be at convention Yeah!
